Is there a specific reason that some one wanted to see so many people's pain? Some one lose their life in sadness and lonlieness and grief. Without their loved ones and a companion. In some way though what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. The jewish people in a whole are so strong now we have gone through so much and here we are today doing the same traditions we have done for thousands of years.

ReplyDelete1. What you said about how what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, because now look at Israel- is so true right now, and that's crazy. Because of all we went through (and like Potok says in The Chosen, it was a terribly high price to pay) we have Israel, etc.
ReplyDelete2. Jeremy- agreed. There's other nations who have had less troubles and still they've fallen apart, and Israel's managed to stick pretty much together, and so have the Jews.
