Dont let the page turning go to waste

While trying to figure out a math problem a bizarre thought popped into my head... what will happen when there are no physical books left??? when everything is electronic, as you can see it will happen and we are getting there (e.g. kindle, ipad etc.) When we won't get that thrill of opening a book and smelling the pages, or hearing the crackle as you turn the fragile but exiting page. When ipods were invented everyone bought one because it was great that we could now listen to music on the go. When the ipod video was created we all bought one because we thought it was even more amazing that we could now watch movies on little personal screens. When ipod touches were created everyone bought one because we thought it was so great that we could now search the internet and go on facebook and you tube...on the go, But now when the portable electronic book was made did everyone buy one? No. All we did was stop and stare and think this very thought that has gone through my head and will hopefully go through yours. People enjoy opening new books. Will our children ever get to have that thrill? Hopefully we will not banish books like we did, walk men and type writers...  so when you read savor the page turning don't let it go to waste.
