6.  I have been reading the news paper since I was nine and I have always seen big head lines...For example todays front page head line for the New York Times is

Libya War Traps Poor Immigrants at Tripoli’s Edge

In this head line we only read a little of what really happened with those poor immigrants...This book has really showed me not only the side that we read about what is happening with terrorists but also whats happening at the smaller level and how we get the information to begin with.....I really learned a lot.... :)

Post #3 Streams of Babel (SPOILER ALERT)

The climax of this book is when Shahzad and Tyler go to the terrorist group and begin to try to get information out of them...and then when Shahzad finds a scratch on his face and realizes that he may not survive.....What bugs me sooo much about this book is that no one trust the kids, who are actually the smarter more knowledgeable people in the situation..... :)

1. I enjoyed this book soooooo much...and yes if you are going to compare books to onions than it was an onion I guess i that it has layers...and whats so interesting it that every chapter or so its changes narrators or points of view...and each point of view is another layer of the onion and each one sort of connects together...as one person dies another layer is pealed. Then then the middle is when the climax is and then is kind of just does gets happy or settles at a specific spot......
:)

WOW... I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE THIS BLOGGING THING BECAUSE I HAVE WRITTEN THIS POST THREE DIFFERENT TIMES AND EVERY SINGLE TIME SOMETHING GOES WRONG AND I HAVE TO RE WRITE IT!!!!!! (SIGH) ANY WAY.....question 5. why did u choose this book.....well as you may or may not have realized this book is indeed not on the book list...i have chosen it from my very own pile (more like a mountain) of books to read, The streams of Babel By Carol plum-Ucci. As many of you know anything that has any small connection to anything related to the word terror greatly amuses me... any way....as I flipped the book over to read the book (face guys every one reads the back) the first word was BIOTERRORISM!!  which just made my head spin with excitement!!! Did the book deliver??? well.....YES!! IT COMPLETELY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATION AND WAS SOO GOOD even though it did bother me that they changed narrators EVERY TIME THERE WAS SOMETHING IMPORTANT ABOUT TO HAPPEN!!!! But definitely read it if you have a chance!! great book... :)

When you have been eating alot for  long time and your stomache is so full and your stomache is filled to it's maximum capacity is your stomach still the same size? If the jews in the holocaust had been tortured and starved and parched from lack of water for so long are they still alive are they still the same people that they were before? Do they still have the same values o have they just learned to fend for themselves if they were rich with money and bursting at the seams with friends and family and then suddenly every thing and every one is gone nothing is left and they are forced to work for their lives, are they still the same people? In the end of The book night Eli Weisel looks at himsef in the mirror and doesnt see a boy who is alive and well, he sees a boy who's soul is dieing.
Is there a specific reason that some one wanted to see so many people's pain? Some one lose their life in sadness and lonlieness and grief. Without their loved ones and a companion. In some way though what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. The jewish people in a whole are so strong now we have gone through so much and here we are today doing the same traditions we have done for thousands of years.
I am nerly half way done with Elis Weisel's book Night and I am struck at how one human being could treat another human being in such a horrific way. Things that they say to each other in times where they are desperate, for  water or food or even times when they are craving love are also quite horrific. Why would any one get the idea in their head that they should kill every single one of a certain kind of people? Why does killing and beating and screaming at people apeal to some? Why would you want to spend your whole life in fear of the next day. How can people sleep at night with the image of burning flesh in their heads? How is that humanly possible?
